We had big plans for a weekend get away to San Fran, but the weather changed that for us. The fact that we are just a quick 1:20 min drive to one of the world's most beautiful cities, we decided to go when it was not 20 mph winds and rain. Yuk!
That weather, however, did not stop us from going for a quick visit to see Cummiskey and Rebecca. They were in town for Rebecca's brother's wedding. Half Moon Bay is a short drive down the PCH( which is like you are driving in a different country it is so picturesque) and about 30 minutes from the city. We went and had lunch and a nice visit. Ellison was enthralled with her Godfather.
From there we promised Emma we would stop at the "Chocolate Factory". We hit Ghirardelli Square and bought some chocolate. The exact same kind you can get at grocery store, but at least it was from the spot where is all started.
We also made a trip down Lomard street. The crookedest, not sure if that is even a word, street in America.

Then we ate dinner at McCormick and Kuleto's,overlooking the bay with Alcatraz in the back drop.
On our way home we went over the Golden Gate Bridge. Even for a rainy day it was still full of adventure.
